Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school. We are a small primary school set in beautiful surroundings.  Denby Free CofE (VA) Primary School has a rich history, a warm, caring school community and supportive parents.  At our school, we believe in working in partnership with all of our parents and carers to get the very best education for all of our pupils.  

We are a happy school and believe that there should be smiles and laughter every day as every child has their own individual talents, skills and abilities and our responsibility is to recognise and nurture their aspirations to be the very best they can be, in whatever area of the curriculum.  We pride ourselves on knowing our children well, working to meet their needs and support them to grow as well-rounded individuals who are independent in their thinking, confident and excited by learning.

We have strong links with St Mary's Church in Denby (one of the oldest churches in England) which is only a few footsteps away. Reverend Tracy Robinson visits the school regularly.  We also go across to church on a weekly basis for our celebration collective worship on a Friday and also for end of term services and other events in the community as we benefit from the support of the local community.

It is extremely difficult to describe a school in a few words. The best way to find out more about us is to come and see us in action.
