Our School Day: At a Glance
We believe a structured yet vibrant school day helps our pupils thrive. From collaborative learning in the classroom to active play outdoors, every moment counts. Our typical school week provides 32.5 hours of education (including breaks and collective worship).

Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds
We fuel our learning with healthy choices. Whether it’s a shared snack or a hot meal, lunchtime is a vital part of our social day.
Snacks & Milk
EYFS & Key Stage 1: Children receive a free piece of fruit or vegetable every morning. Our youngest learners in Reception also enjoy free milk.
Key Stage 2: We encourage our older pupils to keep up those healthy habits by bringing in fruit or vegetable snacks for their morning break.
Lunchtime Options
Our delicious meals are cooked fresh on-site in our own kitchen.
Foundation & KS1: All children are entitled to a Universal Free School Meal.
Key Stage 2: Meals are currently £3.25 per day. We ask that these are paid in advance via ParentPay.
Packed Lunches: Children bringing sandwiches eat alongside their friends in the dining hall. We encourage parents to provide a balanced, healthy lunchbox to keep energy levels high for the afternoon.
Outdoor Play & Wellbeing
We are firm believers in the power of fresh air! Every child goes outside daily to run, play, and socialise.
Rain or Shine: We head outside in most weathers, so please ensure your child has a weather-appropriate coat and shoes every day.
Afternoon Breaks: In addition to the morning break, our Reception and KS1 children enjoy an extra burst of outdoor time in the afternoon. KS2 children may do the same if a brain break needed.
Home Time & Safety
At 3:25 pm, the school day draws to a close. The safety of our pupils is our absolute priority:
Collection: We ask parents to ensure clear arrangements are in place for picking up their children.
Stay in Touch: If there is a change to who is collecting your child—even if it's just for one day—please notify the school office as soon as possible. Please don't send this information to class teachers via ClassDojo during the school day as they might not see it whilst teaching.
