The Denby Cup

On Saturday 17th June, Denby Free hosted its second ever family netball tournament. Seven teams battled it out against one another for the trophy.  It was a wonderful day, full of laughter, fun, a few injuries and lots of netball!  It was amazing to see families and friends working together, children marking adults (and telling them the rules!) and great competitive spirit.  We raised over £250 for new sports equipment and had a fantastic time doing it.

Well done to the eventual winners, Master Movers, who beat the staff team, Denby Dynamos, in the final.  It was a brilliant day.  Thanks to everyone who participated, helped and supported!
