This week we are learning about the blood and particularly about different blood groups. First you are going to do some research yourselves. You can record your information straight onto the word document or just use a pen and paper.
Next, we would like you to read the 'Core' information. This subject is highly scientific and there is some tricky vocabulary. Remember to use a dictionary - book or online - to look up words you might not understand.
If you feel you have a good understanding of the core information, you might want to go onto the extension to find out more.
Lastly, if you would like to, we invite you to take part in a class survey to find out which blood groups members of our class have This will mean you talking to your parents to see if they know - not all of them will - it depends on whether they have ever been given that information and, if they have, can they remember where they put it?!! The survey is anonymous - that means you won't enter your name so nobody else will know which blood group you are - we will just get an overview of the whole class. Just a bit of fun really and we'll be able to see if we are 'typical' as a group.
