This week it's been-you guessed it-safer internet day (or in this case week) 2017.
On Monday we made small scale river models for our topic, Watery World and spent the morning on it, Miss Hunt hosted an Collective Worship on being safe on the world wide web.
Tuesday was more choc-a-bloc then the Monday with the year 6s on a trip to John Flamsteed Community School to do forensic science with some year 10s at the aforementioned John Flamsteed while the Year 5s did a play based on former television programme This is your life! The only difference is it had the Year 5s and was based on the internet. In the morning Miss Herrett talked about first impressions on the internet.
On Wednesday in physical education we had the finale to our dance work with Miss Emily by Year 5 and Year 6 did their dances to the class.
Thursday was the annual class photographs and we talked about the importance of safeguarding personal information and on Friday the Year 6s did some mock SATS tests on gaps (grammar, punctuation and spellings) and rounded off the week with an Collective Worship but on the flip side Evelyn from Sparrows Class had her final day.
