We have now completed our home learning transition to Seesaw. Please make sure that you have signed up on the class app using the home learning QR codes, as this will be how your child can access their home learning tasks. You can also use the families login code to keep updated with things that are happening in class and receive photos of your child's work/activities when school resumes. Seesaw home learning activities will be published daily before 9am. Most activities are interactive on Seesaw so there will no longer be a need for parents to print worksheets etc at home. It would still be great for your child to have access to lined paper, as this will be useful for them to practise their handwriting tasks on and to complete some of their English writing tasks. It is important that the children continue to practise writing on paper to maintain and improve their key writing skills such as handwriting and letter formation, spelling, and using finger spaces, capital letters, full stops etc.
We will also be using Seesaw as our main lines of communication now, rather than the class email. You can send photos/videos of your child's learning and other activities and send private messages to us via the inbox feature. Whilst we cannot always provide instant feedback and responses, due to still teaching full time for those in school, we have found that we can respond much easier and faster than we were able to via email.
If you have any issues in accessing Seesaw or in using it for home learning then please get in touch via our class email.
