Faith at Home is a national campaign that builds on the work of Growing Faith and Everyday Faith to support the faith development and pastoral care of children and young people. There are some wonderful resources here including online Collective Worships and Prayer ideas.

At Denby Free, as a Church of England School, we hold Collective Worship every day. It is a time when all children and staff, of all religions and none, are invited to come together and learn, pray, reflect or simply enjoy some quiet time in their busy day. Daily worship at Denby Free is led by the Collective Worship Team made up of children from all year groups. It is very interactive with stories, singing, drama and many children tell us it is one of the favourite parts of their day. With this in mind, we think some children might well be missing our special time together so below are some excellent resources to help them plan a Collective Worship at home if they would like to. You might even consider using a meeting app such as Zoom so other friends and family could join in?
Many thanks to Alison Brown, our wonderful Deputy Director of Education in Derby Diocese for signposting these resources for us. As always, do send us your photos! |
